Recently I was asked to create a logo for a collision repair shop in the Boise area. The customers asked for a logo that would incorporate a few graphic elements. 1. A crown that will go with the name Royal. 2. include a car to establish quickly that there business was automotive. 3. also include a motorcycle for a growing segment of there business. 4. Create a felling of the 30's/40's as a nod to the era in which the business was established. 5. use a loose hand rendered script for the main copy. I created 4 loose thumbnails the one above was the one that was chosen.
