Old Pipes

That's what our house has. We live in a neat little house that was built in 1956 which gives it a lot of charm but when it comes to plumbing leaves a lot to be desired. Constantly over the past few years that we have lived in our house I have had to battle clogged sinks that no matter how well we watch what we put down the drain come up with some major stop up. It seems that at least every three months or so I'm under a sink or on top of the roof with the handy rooter trying to punch holes through 60 year old pipes. Well after many battles the pipes finally won and I had no choice but to call in the big guns. Luckily for me one of my co workers husbands happens to own an operate a plumbing business by the name of Pipe Man. So I called the Pipe Man and he showed up with much bigger tools then I own. We both figured that a clogged sink should be easy work for the power auger 8000. After an hour and a half the power auger had no luck and I knew that was bad for the old wallet. The Pipe Man told me that he was going to have to perform some surgery on the old pipes and that the hours work that I thought I was looking at was going to turn in to a half day plus parts. This is not what I needed so I suggested to the Pipe Man that I might be able to trade services. This is what I came up with and also what I started with. I sure hope the Pipe man digs it or I'll be digging deep in to my savings account.
